Volunteer Newsletter Issue 1.pdf

Through their time, energy and skills, volunteers make a valuable contribution to the work of Healthwatch.

What will I gain from volunteering?

Doing voluntary work can be a learning experience; you can develop new skills, gain knowledge, meet new people and learn about your local community. Volunteering provides huge opportunities to develop further and is highly recognised by employers.

Why Volunteer?

Volunteering with us can take a variety of forms and we are always looking for new volunteers to help us achieve our mission. You can volunteer with us for as long or as short a time as you like. As a prospective volunteer, we will work with you to identify an opportunity which fits in with your lifestyle, skills and aspirations. Where necessary we can then work with you to give you the training and support to take on a volunteering opportunity with us, or direct you to opportunities with other organisations.
