Venue: Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, Boules Area, Battersea Park, SW11 4NJ.. The event is open to all dog lovers, not just those who have rehomed a Battersea dog. You can enter your four–legged companions into a range of competitions including Golden Oldie, Most Fabulous Fella and the hotly contested Best Battersea Dog. All the money raised from the event will go towards caring for the thousands of lost, abandoned and unwanted dogs and cats who come into our three centres every year.

Thames Path Challenge (Putney Bridge)

Starting near Putney Bridge, the Thames Path Challenge is a tough endurance challenge. Whether you choose to walk, jog or run the 100km route, it is a test of determination and stamina! 25km and 50km routes are also available. Whether you tackle this event as a personal challenge or as part of a team, do something different this September. Thousands of people will be taking part in this challenge which leaves from Putney Bridge and follows the meandering Thames past Runnymede and on to Henley. This event is fully supported, with medics and pace-makers present en route. Hot meals, refreshments and massage will be available at the regular rest stops. Charity Abseil (St George's Hospital Charity)

the opportunity to abseil off the tallest building on the St George’s site – the Pelican Hotel. The building is over 150 feet high and has an amazing view of London from the rooftop. This challenge will be taking place on Saturday 16 September and will truly be an unforgettable experience and a great way to do something for an amazing cause! Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon!
